Project Description

G&A was retained by the City of Rowlett to identify and design emergency repairs at the Westside Lift Station (WSLS) when pumps were damaged by loose chunks of concrete in the wet well. G&A scheduled a night-time internal inspection that revealed corrosion of the walls. Subsequently, G&A identified three contractors who were retained for various elements of the repair work which was completed on a fast-track. One contractor handled the bypass pumping, a second handled the replacement of corroded force main pipe and a frozen valve, while a third handled the Spraywall lining of the wet well and incoming gravity lines. The project construction cost was $881,871.
