Project Description

G&A updated the HEC-RAS hydraulic model for Long Branch from Kyle Road to upstream of Main Street based on more detailed cross sections obtained by a field survey. The scope also included conceptual design services for drainage improvements at Main Street and the DART railroad crossing, and for the channel improvements immediately downstream of Main Street. A permit was obtained from DART to perform soil borings in the rail embankment. This information was used to evaluate the feasibility of boring and jacking through the railroad embankment.
